QSPC LMIC travel grant
Early career researchers residing in World Bank-classified LMIC countries (https://data.worldbank.org/country/XO) are encouraged to apply for the conference travel grant, which aims to support students and scientists within five years of their first employment. The grant covers complimentary registration and provides reimbursement for travel and accommodation expenses up to 1500 euros, prioritizing applicants unable to obtain alternative financial support. Abstract submission is required; please note that the grant application deadline is earlier than the abstract deadline.
Submit an application consisting of (1) Application letter, (2) CV, and (3) Abstract details by February 8, 23:59 CET to qspc@lacdr.leidenuniv.nl with "QSPC LMIC travel grant" in the subject header.
All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee and notified within 10 working days. Include in your application how participation at QSPC will impact your work and development, and a clear description of how knowledge and skills gained from the meeting will be applied within your home organization and contribute to capacity building. Applicants without prior opportunity for international conference attendance will be prioritized.
